  This is a small but historic cemetery. It has grave of Joel Palmer, one of Oregon's most-famous Pioneer settlers. In addition to Palmer's there are dozens of pioneer graves. It also has several other notable graves of men who were at the famous May 2, 1843 meeting at Champoeg, generally considered the date on which Oregon was founded.
